If you’re following us on Instagram, you may have seen that right now we’re pretty obsessed with L’Hôtel de la Marine, an iconic 18th century building in Paris.

With incredible interiors by Jacques Gondouin, the palaze oozes luxury and decadence. Inspired by Hôtel de la Marine’s extensive use of gold, significant attention to detail and Gondouin’s beautiful conception of grandeur – we have brought these elements into one of our current renovation projects, where refined french glamour is the quintessential focus.

This year, L’Hôtel de la Marine housed an exhibition run by French Architectural Digest magazine named AD Collections. This exhibition showcased exceptional, elegant pieces by contemporary furniture designers, and the lavish hotel served as the perfect backdrop. We absolutely adore these collaborations – when gifted creatives come together with design institutions to celebrate the past, present and future of interior design – that’s a moment we love, a moment where we can look at our industry and really appreciate its long history and consistent talent.

Below are some images from this wonderful exhibit. Photos by Seen by Kloe, for Blog-EspritDesign
